SCSG 1040
Every member of the South Carolina State Guard should track their
time and mileage while performing activities for the State Guard.
In addition to claiming mileage on your federal and state returns,
the State of South Carolina will allow a member of the Guard to claim
a $3000 dollar exemption if the member expends more than 192 hours
in a year in Guard activities. Talk to your unit commander for more
details.
